A dying noble in Daggerford wants me ta recover a magical item from a nearby temple. Sounds easy enough. Ye walk through any temple long enough, and yer bound to trip over somethin' ta help ye heal.
1 Defeat 25 Monsters Head out of Daggerford, cleaning up a few rats along the way.
2 Defeat 25 Monsters You're almost immediately set upon by bears and wolves. How predictable.
3 Defeat 25 Monsters Suddenly the bears and wolves back off. You've strayed into boar territory.
4 Collect 15 Boar Tusks Gather some boar tusks to show off back in town.
5 Defeat the Momma Boar The Momma Boar has shown up, and she doesn't seem happy with you.
6 Defeat 25 Monsters Free of the boars, you're back on the path towards the temple.
7 Defeat 25 Monsters Zombies begin to appear interspersed with the wolves and bears native to these forests.
8 Collect 10 Colorful Rags There's something odd about these zombies. Gather some of their strange colorful rags.
9 Defeat 25 Monsters The temple is just ahead. Press forward through the mass of zombies.

The temple with the magical life-saving ring is infested with undead? That's irony fer ya.
10 Defeat the Zombie Cleric As you approach the temple, an undead cleric shuffles from the entrance and attacks.
11 Defeat 25 Monsters Slinking in the shadows are several unfamiliar undead. Suddenly, they attack.

This stonework is unlike anything I have seen before.

You're right, Nayeli. It is not native to this land. I swear I have seen it someplace before, though.
12 Collect 20 Vine Samples Collect some of the temple's flora for further study. It's never the wrong time for scholarship!
13 Defeat 25 Monsters Ghouls roam the halls in packs, driven by an insatiable hunger for humanoid flesh.
14 Defeat 25 Monsters The ghouls seem to have been driven back for now, but a seemingly unending horde of zombies continue to attack.
15 Defeat the Temple Guardian A hulking construct leaps out of the shadows.
16 Defeat 25 Monsters This section of the temple appears to be less intact than the others. The floor is slightly slanted as well.

I recognize these symbols. They are the symbol of Ubtao, the ancient god of Chult.

17 Collect 18 Stone Symbols Collect some of the fallen stone symbols.
18 Defeat 25 Monsters Hold off the undead while your party studies the symbols.

How is that possible? Ye cannot lift a temple onto a cart and drag it across the land.

Perhaps some great magic moved it here. I do not know for certain.
19 Defeat 25 Monsters Chult, a jungle peninsula off the coast far to the south, is largely shrouded in mystery.
20 Defeat the Ghoul Lord An enormous ghoul appears from behind a crumbling column.
21 Defeat 25 Monsters The next chamber over is filled with snakes. Flying snakes.
22 Collect 25 Flying Snake Wings Clip some wings and see if that helps dissuade the others.
23 Defeat 25 Monsters It didn't help. Just keep fighting.
24 Defeat 25 Monsters The snakes seem to slither from every crack in the stone.
25 Defeat the Flying Snake Swarm A large swarm of snakes conglomerates in the darkness and attacks.
26 Defeat 25 Monsters The walls here have crumbled, allowing wolves and bears from the nearby forest to flood in.

27 Collect 10 Adventurer Packs The corner is littered with corpses of adventurers. Scrounge for supplies.
28 Defeat 25 Monsters Protect the dignity of the adventurers by fighting back the wildlife attempting to drag them off.

29 Defeat 25 Monsters Some undead begin to appear from behind you. Battle both them and the wildlife.
30 Defeat the Zombie Adventurer Suddenly one of the adventurers stands up. He's not looking too healthy.

I don't think that was our mysterious survivor, but rather one of the unfortunately dead who was animated. Let's keep going.
31 Defeat 25 Monsters You break into another ruined chamber. The air here is dense and moist.

35 Defeat the Mad Tabaxi Hunter The adventurer finally reveals themself. For whatever reason, they've gone mad.
36 Defeat 25 Monsters You find yourself in a dark passageway leading sharply upwards.
37 Collect 20 Tangled Vines The passageway is clogged with vines and moss. Clear some of it out.

Aha. The pinnacle of the temple. If the ring is anywhere, it's here.
38 Defeat 25 Monsters You reach the pinnacle of the temple and are immediately set upon by snakes swarming around it.
39 Defeat 25 Monsters Push the snakes back away from the center of the pinnacle.
40 Defeat the Zombie Flying Snake A giant flying snake with dead eyes crashes out of the trees and flaps towards you, hissing.
41 Collect 15 Flying Snake Skins The snakes seem to be shedding their skins and fleeing now that their undead leader is dead.
42 Defeat 25 Monsters Undead swarm from the passage behind you. Defend yourselves!

45 Defeat the Girallon Zombie With a final crash of shattered stone and moss, a zombified ape appears from the passage.

46 Defeat 25 Monsters With the Ring of Regeneration in hand, it's time to get back to town.
47 Defeat 25 Monsters A horde of zombies and ghouls appears on the path behind you, driven mad by some unseen force.

50 Defeat the Wight A horrific apparition appears from the zombie horde.
