Resets is one of the Game Mechanics in Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms.

Meanings[ | ]

In Idle Champions, the word "Reset" can mean one of four things:

1. Manually "Complete the Adventure". Whether you are in Freeplay or a Quest, you can manually "Complete Adventure" to end your run. You will retain any earned favor, gems or chests you gathered up to your reset, whether you have completed the adventure's success criteria (if any) or not. Manual resets will return you to the World Map where you can begin the same or a different adventure. This is usually done when your adventure party's progress has noticeably slowed or you have already "hit the wall" and are making no more progress in your current run.

2. Automatically Reset the current adventure using a Modron Core. You can obtain Modron Cores by completing the Split The Party quests. One aspect of the obtained Modron is Modron Automation which allows you to select a specific level at which you automatically reset. You will retain any earned favor, gems or chests you gathered up to your reset. Modron Automation resets place you back at the first level of your current adventure (and do NOT send you back to the World Map like a manual reset will) and will re-use your current formation. This allows you to repeatedly loop between level one and your specified automation level without ever leaving the zone. This provides the best way to farm gems which you can spend on various upgrades. This, however, will require a couple Familiars and a little planning on your part. You can learn about the basic automation set-up at the Modron Automation page. For discussion on highly optimized set-up see the detailed Steam guide by Aztraeuz here.

3. Reset your Blessings. On the in-game Blessings page, you are able to purchase blessings (buffs) using the various Divine Favor you have earned. You are also able to Reset your purchased blessings (moving a percentage of the spent favor back into your earned bank).

4. Hard Reset of all in-game progress. Currently, there appears to be no way to hard reset your current progress on the platform you are using. (You are able to start a new progression using a different platform from the one you are using. For example, your mobile app progress is not the same as your Steam progress.)
