Restrictions	Mad Cows spawn randomly during the adventure. Every few seconds they spit at a random hero, reducing their attack speed by 50% for 10 seconds.

The Contagious Curse

Bruenor:	"Something must have made the farmer go mad. Let's investigate the area."
1	Defeat 25 Cows		Thin out the cursed cows so you can search the area.
2	Collect 25 Cursed Rat Tails		Even the rats have gone mad. Gather some cursed tails for your trophy case.
Bruenor:	"Vultures. Blech. These winged scavengers don't deserve our pity."
3	Collect 25 Vulture Feathers		Vultures have begun to appear -- feeding on the dead cows and rats. Hopefully the curse can't be spread by carrion eaters.
4	Defeat 25 Enemies		You hear a crash from the direction of the farmhouse. Head back there to see what caused it.
5	Defeat the Cursed Warhorse		With a loud whinny, a ferocious horse rounds the house and attacks.
Bruenor:	"There was more to that farmer than met the eye."
Nayeli:	"Indeed. How could he have afforded such a powerful warhorse?"
6	Collect 25 Iron Horseshoes		Search the area for anything related to the warhorse.
Bruenor:	"None of this really explains it. Let's keep searching the property. We must be missing something."
7	Defeat 25 Enemies		Head towards the barn. You haven't checked that out yet.
8	Defeat 25 Enemies		A large number of vultures and rats have converged around some poor goat corpses. Scare them off.
Celeste:	"Did you hear that?"
Bruenor:	"There's something in there..."
9	Collect 25 Pitchforks		There's noise coming from inside the barn. Prepare yourself!
Cursed Farmhand:	"Sllfp... Treasure... Below..."
Bruenor:	"What's that? Treasure below?"
Cursed Farmhand:	"Zppflt! Sfvveik!"
10	Defeat the Cursed Farmhand		A farmhand cowers in the corner as you enter. He looks like he hasn't eaten in a week. Without warning, he attacks!
Bruenor:	"He said 'treasure below...' look for a trap door or a hidden stairway."
Nayeli:	"I think I found something!"
Jarlaxle:	"A secret tunnel. How cliché."
11	Defeat 25 Giant Caterpillars		Make your way through the secret tunnel.
12	Collect 25 Dirty Gold Ingots		You notice a glint in the dirt. Treasure?
Bruenor:	"This is quite the treasure. No wonder the farmer had such wealth. But where did it come from, and is it the cause of the curse?"
13	Defeat 25 Giant Caterpillars		A table here seems to contain many rich relics. Just who was this farmer?
Celeste:	"There's more light ahead. Perhaps another end of this tunnel?"
14	Defeat 25 Giant Caterpillars		The cavern gets lighter ahead, though the enemies seem as thick as ever.
15	Defeat the Owlbear		With a hoot and a groan, an enormous owlbear leaps from the shadows.
Bruenor:	"Incredible. A hidden dungeon. This may be where the farmer's treasure came from."
Celeste:	"Let's be careful. This curse is no joke."
16	Defeat 25 Gnolls		This dungeon must have been below the farm the whole time. Gnolls appear to have recently moved in.
Celeste:	"These gnolls don't seem to be cursed. Perhaps we're on the wrong track?"
17	Collect 25 Tattered Tapestries		Search for some sign of who built this dungeon, or how long it has been here.
Bruenor:	"Maybe the curse takes time to fester. It looks like these gnolls have not been here very long."
18	Defeat 25 Gnolls		Clear out some more gnolls so you can get a better feel for the place.
19	Collect 25 Discreet Relics		There aren't many relics on this level. It seems like it has been picked clean. Try to find any the previous looters missed.
20	Defeat the Gnoll King		The gnolls' leader has appeared. He isn't very happy that you're messing up his pack's new home.
21	Defeat 25 Gnolls		The remaining gnolls seem to be vehemently defending this corridor. Perhaps something of value still remains.
Jarlaxle:	"A treasure room! Now we're talking!"
Celeste:	"Be careful. We still don't know if any of this stuff is cursed."
22	Collect 25 Dusty Knick-Knacks		It's a treasure room! Collect some swag!
23	Collect 25 Treasure Chest Keys		Ugh. It's been almost completely cleared out. There are a few locked treasure chests still unopened. See if you can find the keys.
Bruenor:	"I have a bad feeling about this."
24	Defeat 25 Sime Covered Gnolls		These gnolls are covered in a sizzling translucent jelly! You've got a bad feeling about this.
25	Defeat the Gelatinous Cube		A section of the room that was deep in the shadows suddenly jiggles, then lurches towards you.
26	Defeat 25 Enemies		This part of the dungeon seems to have been completely cleared out, but something tells you there's more to be found.
27	Collect 25 Fragile Parchment		This room may have been a library once, but it's been stripped completely bare. See if you can find anything the looters missed.
Bruenor:	"One of these papers looks like a map. If I'm right, there's a whole second level of the dungeon below us. There must be stairs somewhere."
28	Defeat 25 Enemies		Search for the stairs leading down to the lower level.
29	Defeat 25 Enemies		Follow the right-hand rule!
30	Defeat the Giant Tarantula		As the stairs descend into darkness, you hear a heavy skittering from below.
Celeste:	"Do you guys notice how clean it is down here? There's barely any dust or grime."
31	Defeat 25 Enemies		This part of the dungeon seems much more well kept, as if someone has recently lived here.
32	Collect 25 Goblin Coin Pouches		You stumble into an entirely intact treasure room in the process of being looted by goblins.
Jarlaxle:	"Whoa! This stuff is really valuable! Who would just leave it all down here?"
33	Collect 25 Jeweled Goblets		Gather some of those jeweled goblets.
34	Defeat 25 Enemies		Wait a minute... that treasure chest just moved! Look out!
35	Defeat the Greater Mimic		From underneath a pile of discarded treasure, a massive mimic appears and begins chomping its way towards you.
36	Defeat 25 Enemies		You are amazed at how clean and well kept this section of the dungeon is. Rats and spiders aside, there must be someone down here keeping this place so tidy.
37	Collect 25 Ritual Candles		Someone has converted this part of the hallway into somewhat of a shrine.
Celeste:	"I recognize those symbols. They're of Talona, the Mistress of Disease. That's not good."
Bruenor:	"It looks like someone has been living down here."
Nayeli:	"Judging by the imps, I'd say they're up to no good."
Bruenor:	"Hopefully they're not too cursed to tell us what's going on."
38	Defeat 25 Lesser Imps		You almost stumble into a bed chamber that looks as if it were made up this morning. What's more, it's crawling with imps.
39	Collect 25 Questionable Books		There's a pile of well-read books next to the bed. See if there's anything interesting.
Celeste:	"Many of these books seem to deal with Talona. It wouldn't surprise me if she's involved with the curse somehow."
40	Defeat the Shadow Imp		A tapestry on the wall shifts, and from behind it comes an imp more terrifying than any of the others.
Nayeli:	"Look here. Another hidden tunnel."
41	Defeat 25 Enemies		Behind the tapestry you find a hidden tunnel.
42	Collect 25 Symbol Sketches		You exit the tunnel into a large chamber. Ritual candles adorn the floor like a carpet, and strange symbols are painted upon the walls and ceiling.
43	Defeat 25 Lesser Imps		A strange bubbling cauldron sits in the middle of the room.
Celeste:	"Look! The cauldron is cracked! It's leaking into the ground. I'm betting it's getting into the ground water and causing the curse."
Bruenor:	"Nobody touch it! Celeste, can we neutralize it?"
Celeste:	"I think so. We just need some basic materials."
44	Collect 25 Candle Wax		Gather materials to attempt to neutralize the poison.
Cleric:	"What are you people doing? Leave that alone! You'll ruin everything!"
Bruenor:	"Your cauldron is causing trouble above. It must be neutralized."
Cleric:	"No! No I won't let you! Talona! Aid me!"
45	Defeat the Cursed Cleric		Just as you're about to toss in the antidote, a finely dressed cleric emerges from the tunnel that you entered through.
46	Defeat 25 Lesser Imps		The cauldron explodes in a flash of light and a rift appears where it once stood.
Bruenor:	"New plan: We've got to close that rift!"
Celeste:	"I can do it! I just need to paint the right warding symbol!"
47	Collect 25 Paint Pails		You're going to need more materials. Gather some paint.
48	Defeat 25 Lesser Imps		The otherworldly horde pouring through the portal grows stronger.
49	Defeat 25 Lesser Imps		Hold off the fiends while you make final preparations.
Celeste:	"Okay! This should cause the rift to close! Just hold them off for a few more seconds!"
50	Defeat the Quasit		As the rift shrinks and finally begins to close, a terrible creature claws its way through and leaps towards you.
Celeste:	"Phew! That should do it. This area won't be safe for a while, though. The poison has permeated the groundwater and poisoned the land."
Bruenor:	"We'll post signs on our way out."
Jarlaxle:	"At least the treasure is curse-free. Right?"
