Restrictions	Barovian wedding "guests" have filled the castle in preparation of Strahds nuptials. Two of them take up space in the formation, causing each of the Champions to randomly do between 0.1% and 199.9% of their actual damage with each hit.

Tanking Expectations

	It's a nice day to stop a wedding with a tanking champion of OUR choice.
Requirements	Must have completed "Towering Expectations" Must have completed 70 Grand Tour adventures or variants
Objectives	Complete Area 350
Restrictions	A random Tanking Champion is immediately unlocked, added to the formation, and can't be removed, and can't be moved. Other Champions with the Tanking role cannot be used. Enemies move 300% faster, have 300% more health, and deal 300% more damage.

Bruenor:	Step lively through this rubble, Champions. We gotta hit tha stairs runnin' before tha rest o' this tower comes down.
Nayeli:	We need to find Strahd before he gets to Ireena. The vampire is still in hiding, which hopefully means his ritual is still in progress.
Ezmerelda:	With the Sunsword, she should be able to look after herself for a time, even if he comes for her.
Nayeli:	When, not if. And when he does, I mean to be there.
1	Defeat 25 Monsters		Time to get moving! But this flock of ravens that survived the roc's attack is in your way!
2	Defeat 25 Monsters		Mongrelfolk and gargoyles block the stairs down. Push past them!
Jarlaxle:	These mongrelfolk are pressing in from every direction! We've got nowhere to go.
Ezmerelda:	These accursed stairs make this castle a veritable maze. The mongrelfolk aren't known for their cleverness. How are they navigating it?
Jarlaxle:	I can see a few of them carrying parchments. Those might provide an answer.
3	Collect 25 Crude Maps		Collecting the mongrelfolk's maps might provide clues to a shortcut through Strahd's castle.
4	Defeat 25 Monsters		Bats swarm a stretch of hallway -- and seem keen to distract you from the gargoyles on patrol!
5	Defeat the Vampire Bat		Poisonous bats swarm you as a dread vampire bat draws close! Watch out!
6	Defeat 25 Monsters		Vampire spawn pour forth from the darkness! Strahd's minions mean to stop your advance!
Bruenor:	Them undead and their bats ain't lettin' up! Where are they all comin' from?
Ezmerelda:	The darkness of Castle Ravenloft breeds all manner of foul creatures to Strahd's service. There'll be even more where those came from.
7	Defeat 25 Monsters		More of Strahd's spawn attempt to hem you in. Push on!
8	Collect 25 Bat Wings		These poison-spitting bats refuse to get out of your way. Clipping their wings will help clear the air.
9	Defeat 25 Monsters		Even as you push Strahd's vampire spawn back, a pack of mongrelfolk make this a two-front fight.
Jarlaxle:	Look sharp. We're about to get a visitor.
Bruenor:	Who is it? What do ye see, elf?
Jarlaxle:	Not see, hear. The walls are screaming -- and opening up right there.
Rahadin:	Curse you all, Champions! Your ability to avoid your doom would have made you worthy servants of my lord Strahd. But your interference leaves him -- and I -- with no alternative but to destroy you now!
Bruenor:	Ye talk a good game, chamberlain. But I can't help but notice that yer lord ain't showed up yet. So I think he's still workin' that ritual, and I think ye're here just ta waste our time. Which means yer time is up!
10	Defeat the Rahadin		Strahd's chamberlain confronts you at last! Destroying this lackey will send the vampire a message!
Jarlaxle:	Rahadin had no difficulty following us. Those secret passages of his must run throughout the entirety of the castle.
Nayeli:	So he knew where we were going the whole while. He's been shadowing us, watching us take on Strahd's minions. Wasting our time, like Bruenor said.
Celeste:	But for him to reveal himself again now must mean his need to waste our time is at an end -- which means Strahd's ritual is done. We need to get to Ireena, and quickly!
11	Defeat 25 Monsters		This force of vampire spawn can't hold the stairs against you!
Bruenor:	Them vampire spawn ain't lettin' up! And is that more o' them up ahead?
Jarlaxle:	No. It looks like civilians.
Nayeli:	Strahd has villagers here? Does he mean to use them as hostages?
Jarlaxle:	Actually, they look a little more 'hostile' than 'hostage.'
Wedding Guest:	Stop where you are, Champions. Our service to Lord Strahd is clear.
Nayeli:	Indeed? Tell me, what sort of persons serve the murderer who keeps their land, their families, in poverty and fear?
Wedding Guest:	You think you can change that? You're a fool! Strahd will destroy you all, and will make us pay for your insolence. We've come for the wedding festivities, as ordered. That chamberlain told us to wait until the castle shook, then take out anyone who survived from your group.
Bruenor:	Well, bad news fer ye. That chamberlain's dead, and our group's got a whole lot more survivin' we're gonna do this day. Startin' with this fight right here!
12	Defeat 25 Monsters		More vampire spawn press the attack -- but the presence of these misguided villagers raises the stakes of this fight!
Jarlaxle:	The weapons these wedding guests are using leave a lot to be desired. Chair legs? People throwing plates? Strahd could do with a proper quartermaster.
Bruenor:	I ain't complainin'. Blighter just threw a turkey leg at me. Perfect timin' fer a wee snack.
Jarlaxle:	It looks like someone else is trying to throw some cutlery your way for that snack. Look out!
13	Collect 25 Improvised Weapons		These so-called wedding guests attack with anything they can get their hands on. Disarming these rabble might help take them out of the fight!
Nayeli:	These wedding guests aren't letting up. Curse their treachery!
Celeste:	They're afraid, Nayeli. They know no life but terror under Strahd. If any had the capacity for hope, it was taken from them long ago.
Bruenor:	Aye. Ye can see it in their eyes. Their weapons is maybe makeshift, but their fight ta survive is still goin' strong. Take 'em out easy if ye can -- and focus on takin' out tha source o' their fear when we meet him.
14	Defeat 25 Monsters		Time to get this crowd under control before too many more people get hurt!
15	Defeat the Mastiff		Reaching the stairs offers no respite from the guests' assault -- and reveals a snarling mastiff on guard against you!
16	Defeat 25 Monsters		A tight fight on the stairs offers little room to maneuver! Push on!
Jarlaxle:	We're getting hemmed in by the close quarters of these stairs. Make for that door. Hopefully we can find some space to open up this fight.
Bruenor:	Oi! I can smell dinner again, sure as me nose still works. Strahd's got no shortage o' dinin' rooms in this place.
Jarlaxle:	That'll be as good an option as any. Come on!
17	Defeat 25 Monsters		Fighting in the dining room only seems to redouble the villagers' hunger for battle!
18	Collect 25 Improvised Weapons		The belligerent guests are beginning to show signs of wearying. Keeping them from grabbing up new weapons might slow them down even more!
19	Defeat 25 Monsters		A last force of wedding guests pushes in. Don't let them surround you!
Bruenor:	Pretty sure we've got these guests on their last legs. We send a few more o' these blighters ta tha floor, maybe we'll catch some respite.
Baba Lysaga:	I wouldn't count on that, outworlder.
Nayeli:	Baba Lysaga! We killed you, witch. What darkness is this?
Baba Lysaga:	I'm immortal, child! Do you think you and the rest of these pathetic adventurers could keep me from missing my son's wedding?
Bruenor:	I guess Strahd ain't mentioned it yet, but tha weddin' is off, witch, on account o' tha groom's got a date with his maker.
Baba Lysaga:	Fools! The festivities are just beginning -- so it's time for you to die!
20	Defeat the Baba Lysaga		The last guest to this dark wedding is the most deadly of all! Destroy Baba Lysaga or all is lost!
21	Defeat 25 Monsters		The violent wedding guests have thankfully scattered -- but Strahd's undead servants are quick to join the fray.
Jarlaxle:	I remember this corridor. Ireena's chambers are just ahead!
Nayeli:	And these accursed undead are here to stop us reaching it. Everyone, to me! Then hit them hard!
22	Defeat 25 Monsters		Pushing through these Strahd zombies is tough enough. But these flameskulls are intent on keeping you pinned down from the edge of the fray!
Nayeli:	Ireena! Where is she?
Jarlaxle:	Gone. And judging by the state of the room, she wasn't fighting.
Celeste:	Strahd's ritual must have been completed. He'll be trying to restore Tatyana's memories -- and Ireena will be trying to kill him.
Nayeli:	Not alone, she won't. Come on!
23	Collect 25 Armor Pieces		Ireena is missing! Your need to find the devil Strahd is more urgent than ever before!
24	Defeat 25 Monsters		As you pursue the missing Ireena, a force of vampire spawn and villagers blocks your way!
Celeste:	Ireena! Thank the gods we've found you!
Jarlaxle:	Hold up, Celeste. Something's wrong.
Bruenor:	She's standin' right where poor Ismark was, on guard here. And look at her eyes. She don't recognize us. Strahd's in her mind.
Nayeli:	No! We need to get to her!
Ezmerelda:	Nayeli, watch yourself! That's the Sunsword she's wielding!
Bruenor:	Everybody stay sharp! Put Ireena down gentle! If there's any o' her left in there, we're gonna save it!
25	Defeat the Ireena		Strahd's evil has turned friend to foe! Ireena must be saved -- before she kills you all!
Celeste:	Ireena is down! Now hold her! And pray my magic can help...
Ireena:	You will all die! My master will... no... Champions. What's happening?
Nayeli:	You're safe now. That's all that matters. Ireena, what happened?
Ireena:	I remember... Strahd's voice in my mind. He charmed me, preparing me for something. I felt my memory... slipping away. I'm still... It feels like I'm losing moments. His power is still in me, curse him. You have to stop him, Champions.
Nayeli:	We'll stop him together, Ireena. You're stronger than him.
Ireena:	But not strong enough. He's in the crypt beneath the castle, preparing for the wedding and the completion of his ritual. But he doesn't know I have the Sunsword. I forced it from my thoughts to hide it from him.
Bruenor:	That's a bit o' good thinkin', and works hard in our favor. Looks like our plan is ta get ta Strahd. If we take him down, we take him down. And if we don't, Ireena can try ta finish him.
Ireena:	If he enters my mind again, he'll see you with me. Better that I go separately to the crypt. I can buy you time while he searches for me.
26	Defeat 25 Monsters		The hallways leading to the crypts are swarming with undead! Look sharp!
27	Defeat 25 Monsters		As skeletal warriors try to pin you down, archers assault you from all sides!
Bruenor:	These undead is gettin' thicker ahead.
Jarlaxle:	They're getting thicker underfoot as well. The more of these skeletons we shatter, the harder it is to wade through their remains.
Bruenor:	Aye, this footin' is gettin' right treacherous. We gotta clean up this floor, and fast!
28	Collect 25 Bones		You need to move! Grab up these bones to clear your way to Strahd!
29	Defeat 25 Monsters		The last of the skeletons have fallen -- but a pack of zombies blocks your way down!
Nayeli:	There, ahead! I sense a stronger evil within that horde.
Jarlaxle:	The zombies have a leader, it looks like.
Bruenor:	Feh. Don't matter how better dressed they are, this one'll fall like all tha rest!
30	Defeat the Zombie Adventurer		A feral zombie adventurer takes point as the undead mob surrounds you!
Ezmerelda:	We're below the castle, friends. Strahd's crypt is near.
Bruenor:	Then we need ta get a plan in order, and right quick.
Celeste:	If we can catch Strahd sleeping in his crypt, we can paralyze him by staking him in the heart.
Jarlaxle:	As easy as that, is it?
Celeste:	Ezmerelda has the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind. If my reading of its magic is right, she'll be able to use it to summon sunlight that will destroy the vampire while he's helpless.
Bruenor:	With Ireena and tha Sunsword here as backup. Sounds like we got everythin' covered. But it ain't just Strahd we'll be facin'. So don't give these minions o' tha vampire any advantage.
31	Defeat 25 Monsters		Your final confrontation with Strahd is near at hand! And his undead servants will stop at nothing to keep you from reaching it!
32	Defeat 25 Monsters		Crawling claws and undead flameskulls swarm the final flight of stairs! Hit them hard!
Nayeli:	There he is! Strahd! Devil! Your hour of doom is at hand!
Strahd:	Ah, Champions! I've been expecting you. Thank you for so predictably wasting your time fighting my servants. You've given me exactly what I need.
Bruenor:	Ye talk tough fer one who's surrounded, vampire. I'd tell ya ta make this easy on everyone, and face yer end with a bit o' nobility. But ye wouldn't know how ta be noble if ye tried.
Strahd:	Your sense of who surrounds who suggests you have trouble with counting, dwarf. But be at ease! You are my honored guests, you see. And you will watch while my ritual is completed.
Bruenor:	Pretty sure we got other plans, devil. Champions! Attack!
33	Defeat 1 Magical Barrier		As Strahd's undead attack, a magical barrier that protects the vampire hems you in! Clear it out, and quickly!
Ireena:	Your dark magic is useless, Strahd. Your minions might slow the Champions down, but they won't stop them. And I will never accept you.
Strahd:	My love, your acceptance is no longer required. For I am in your mind. Behold my most precious possession! A single strand of the first Tatyana's hair. With this, I will restore your memories, my love. We will be together again.
Ireena:	Never, devil! We will fight to... my mind... what...?
Nayeli:	Strahd is in her mind again. Champions! We need to get to the vampire, now!
34	Defeat 25 Monsters		Zombies and vampire spawn pour forth from the crypt! Push through them!
Bruenor:	Keep hittin' him! I wanna watch this undead cur grovel before we finish him!
Strahd:	Fool! No one bests me! Strahd von Zarovich is second to no one!
Bruenor:	That ain't what I heard, vampire. Wonder what yer Tatyana would say ta that if yer brother Sergei were here?
Strahd:	You... how do you know of Sergei?
Nayeli:	We read it in your own words, devil. All of this, all your evil, arises from your own failure. Your insignificance.
Strahd:	No! You have stolen the Tome! You will pay for that! ALL OF YOU!
35	Defeat the Strahd		You have pushed the devil Strahd to the breaking point! Now use that to take your vengeance on the vampire lord!
Jarlaxle:	What was that?
Strahd:	Your doom, mortal. Now to take back what is mine.
Bruenor:	Ireena, watch yerself! Stay away from -
Celeste:	No! He has Ireena and the Tome! And he's disappeared!
Bruenor:	Coward vampire's gone. And he's bringin' tha tomb down on us!
Ezmerelda:	Look out!
Deekin:	Boss?
Strix:	We see it, Deekin! RUN!
Jarlaxle:	Move! Move!
Celeste:	Is everyone all right?
Bruenor:	Think so, 'cept fer bein' a bit dusty. But we're outta time. Strahd's cursed luck is holdin' fast.
Nayeli:	I don't believe in luck, and this fight isn't over yet. We need to get to the wedding hall. Strahd has everything he needs to turn Ireena. We have one last chance to stop him.
36	Defeat 25 Monsters		It's a race to reach Strahd before his dark ritual can be completed. Don't let these skeletons slow you down!
37	Defeat 25 Monsters		The undead blocking your way fight hard to hold you back. Show them no mercy!
Nayeli:	These undead grow more desperate in their tactics. They sense they're losing this fight.
Bruenor:	And they look like they're pilin' coffins up ta boot, tryin' ta slow us down. We're gettin' close!
38	Defeat 2 Crypt Blockers		The stairs up have been blocked by Strahd's desperate minions. Push through!
39	Defeat 25 Monsters		Skeleton archers pepper you from the edges of the fray, even as more undead close in!
40	Defeat the Armored Skeleton		An elite armored warrior takes point in a final skeletal assault!
Jarlaxle:	Listen! I hear something.
Bruenor:	More o' that screamin'?
Jarlaxle:	Worse. Music.
Nayeli:	Strahd's accursed ceremony is starting! Everyone, hurry!
41	Defeat 25 Monsters		Strahd's endgame is near! Let no undead defenders stand in your way!
42	Defeat 25 Monsters		The vampire's wedding guests have regrouped in the dining room -- and are intent on helping Strahd bring his evil plans to fruition!
Nayeli:	What is it those guests are wearing? Some sort of sigil of Strahd?
Jarlaxle:	It's a flask of blood. Nice ribbon, though.
Ezmerelda:	You can smell the blood from here?

Nayeli:	Everyone, close to me now! We have no more chances left! When we find Strahd, Ezmerelda will use the sunlight from the holy symbol to distract the devil. Ireena will be ready, I know she will. Then she can finish him with the Sunsword.
Bruenor:	That's assuming Strahd ain't recognized tha blade yet. And that's assuming Ireena is... still Ireena.
Nayeli:	I know. If she isn't, it'll all be up to us.
44	Defeat 25 Monsters		The wedding hall stands just ahead! But a force of flameskulls and a last stand of villagers are in your way!
Nayeli:	Strahd!
Strahd:	You! How many times must I kill you, Champions?
Bruenor:	Once'd be 'nuff, vampire. But based on what I seen, ye ain't got it in ye.
Strahd:	Fools. I erred when I tried to kill you quickly. For your insolence, your end will be agonizing and slow!
Nayeli:	I'd promise you the same, devil, but your evil has lingered too long in this world already. It ends today. Ezmerelda! NOW!
45	Defeat the Strahd		The time has come! The fate of Ireena and of all Barovia hang in the balance! The devil Strahd will not escape you this time!
Nayeli:	No! The devil has gone to mist form!
Celeste:	It's as good as we'll get this time. Quickly, now. Ireena, can you hear me? Tatyana?
Ireena:	I... Celeste? I am... here. There's no Tatyana, my friend. Not anymore.
Nayeli:	We did it, my friends. Strahd's ritual was undone, as small a comfort as that can be while the devil still lives.
Celeste:	No, Nayeli. We've dealt Strahd a greater blow than death. That strand of hair was his only hope of getting Tatyana back. And now that hope is gone.
Ireena:	I'll need someone to fill me in on what's happened. It's all... unclear. But this sword is quite nice. I'll think I'll keep it.
Paultin:	Wait, what?
Jarlaxle:	Never mind, Paultin. It's a continuity thing. It'll work itself out eventually.
Bruenor:	Right. We need ta get movin'. Not sure how long Strahd's gonna take ta get his body back, but we don't need ta be here when he does.
Nayeli:	But where do we go from here? Is our mission finished? Or do we need to prepare to face Strahd again?
Ireena:	My friends, you are welcome to return with me to the town of Barovia. As long as Strahd stands, we need Champions bearing the burden of leadership. I wish to take up the burgomaster role my father held. I can honor his memory that way, and Ismark's.
Deekin:	Boss, why does the shiny sword person want to be a flesh golem? Ow!
Jarlaxle:	Leave it, Deekin. There's nothing good that can come of that now.
46	Defeat 25 Monsters		Even with the devil Strahd defeated, his minions won't give up without a fight. Time to give it to them!
47	Defeat 25 Monsters		Zombies and poison-spitting bats push in from all sides! Finish this fight!
Ezmerelda:	Watch yourself, Bruenor!
Bruenor:	Oi! Thanks fer tha assist, lass. Ye've been a boon in these fights, and that's tha truth. Is there any chance ye'll think o' stickin' with tha Champions fer a time?
Ezmerelda:	I don't think so. Not right now, at least. I'll hold the holy symbol for safekeeping, but I have a mind to follow Van Richten. To make sure he knows that some still love him. Perhaps he can find some happiness in his final days.
Celeste:	That's a noble mission, Ezmerelda. And if we see each other again, know that you'll always have friends among the Champions.
Ezmerelda:	Thank you, Celeste, and perhaps we will meet... say, are there windows open somewhere? There's a mist on the air suddenly...
Bruenor:	What in tha Nine Hells...? 'Tis foggy as me gran's steam room in here all o' a sudden!
Nayeli:	This is some trick of Strahd! Stand fast!
Jarlaxle:	Watch your footing! The ground is shifting under us.
48	Collect 25 Crumbling Stones		You're under attack on an unknown battlefield! And you'll need to clear out these crumbling stones to find your way forward!
Strahd:	Champions...
Nayeli:	Devil! I hear your voice! If dying once isn't enough for you, stand before me again!
Strahd:	You cannot... you will not... You have ruined me! My Tatyana... gone...
Bruenor:	Ye're soundin' a little weak, vampire. But glad ta hear we could help ya out with yer Tatyana problem. Now maybe do us and all Barovia a favor and embrace tha darkness fer good.
Strahd:	I will never forget... I will never forgive... When you least expect it... I will have my vengeance...
Jarlaxle:	Not a bad revenge monologue as far as telepathic screeds go. But we've got more company incoming. Watch yourselves!
49	Defeat 25 Monsters		As Strahd's malice fades, ghostly figures swarm around you. Push these undead back!
Jarlaxle:	Straight ahead! I can see light. If we can get outside the castle, perhaps we can figure out what's... going on?
Bruenor:	Oi. Does this seem odd ta anyone else?
Jarlaxle:	What, the forest clearing we're suddenly standing in? The pack of wolves bearing down on us? That pixie, riding a bear? Seems totally normal to me.
Bruenor:	Right. Just checkin'...
50	Defeat the Pixie Leader		A sight never seen in Barovia tells you you're back in Faerûn! Now you just need to survive the welcome!
Bruenor:	Okay, I keep closin' me eyes and openin' them again, and there ain't nothin' changin'. Someone else try.
Deekin:	Ow. Not dreaming, boss.
Celeste:	Bruenor, I'm trying to tell you there's nothing wrong with your eyes. We're home!
Jarlaxle:	Back in the real world, thank all the gods. But that sunlight! So ridiculously bright. It's enough to make a person want to create an advanced civilization in the Underdark.
Nayeli:	But what of Strahd? What of Barovia?
Bruenor:	Well I ain't no prognosticator, but I got a feelin' that Barovia's gonna be doin' better than it was. Ireena's burgomaster, and she's carryin' a sword Strahd fears.
Celeste:	What's even more important, I think, is that she and the folk of all Barovia have an example to follow now. They've seen that Strahd can be fought.
Bruenor:	Aye. And that's not a lesson they or tha vampire are gonna forget quickly. But fer now, friends, we got walkin' ta do. Come on.
